CopperConnect – Knowledge. Innovation. Collaboration. Impact

CopperConnect is an initiative designed to establish a comprehensive platform that extends beyond the resources of any single producer, researcher, or solution provider. The ICAA is demonstrating that through cooperative action, knowledge can be shared in accordance with FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles of scientific data management.

By harnessing the collaborative intelligence of the copper industry, CopperConnect aggregates knowledge and accelerates innovation and sustainability, enabling the global resources industry of the future. This platform effectively presents complex systems, including research outcomes, data, tools, emerging technologies and trends, learning resources, directories, and communities of practice.

CopperConnect is a partnership between the ICAA and other industry members. The current prototype is searchable by ICAA members and stakeholders across the public, research, mining technology, and community sectors. It serves those interested in best practices and innovation in the global resources sector, delivering reliable information to help the industry navigate a world where complex forces are driving transformational change across the mining value chain.

The development of CopperConnect will occur in stages, beginning with hosting insights from the ICAA Roadmap to Zero Reports. This will provide a solid foundation for the platform’s future growth and development, including the integration of CopperAI, harnessing its power to further enhance knowledge sharing and innovation in the mining industry.
